Day 13

Boot Camp is humming. We have big crowds daily and we are moving fast, with a purpose. The Nuts and bolts are functioning at a high level and grinding out impressive numbers. The Packs are averaging about 650 repetitions of various basic training exercise and 3.5 miles of running in 50 minutes. Today was special as at least 30 folks warmed up two laps around the track before the workout. A half mile a day adds up to 2.5 miles a week. That is 15 miles a 6 week session. Wow, run a whole mile before we start and those numbers double.

Take it from the skinny runner dorks, NOTHING burns fat better than putting one foot in front of the other. Also, your fastest runners are typically skinny and, they are not mutually exclusive. Walking and jogging are healthy. Fast running burns fat.
