Zy'derryo is Desire's grilfriend's grandson. Desire is a Back on My feet Runner. He has embraced the BoMF running program and is getting in shape
Desire lives in the Gateway Center here in Atlanta. Despite having a minimum wage job at Marshalls where he has to work late many nights, he always makes the 5:45AM runs required by Back on My Feet.
Desire was looking forward to the MLK Day 5K. He was so excited about the race, he purchased a registration for Zy'derryo.
After Saturdays BoMF run, Desire mentioned that Zy'derryo said he had a "school project" and could not make the race. . We figured road racing was new to Zy'derryo and he was nervous. We agreed that Zy'derryo was not going to be allowed to back out.
Zy'derryo ran the MLK Day 5K. It was his first ever road race and he loved it. Thanks to Desire for bringing him.
